ENGINE RUNNING
Using only one of the engines in case of
emergency, be sure to keep the unused
one tilted up and operate the other engine
at low speed.

If the boat is operated with one engine in
the water but not running, water may run
into the exhaust pipe due to wave action,
causing engine trouble.
NOTE:
When you are maneuvering at low speed,
such as near a dock, it is recommended
that both engines be running with one in
neutral gear. Then, if the engine you are
using stops, you can immediately switch
to the other engine.
