Power Tilt Switch
The power tilt adjusts the motor angle in
relation to the transom. The power tilt switch
is located on the remote control lever grip.
Pushing the switch UP tilts the motor up.
Pressing the switch DN tilts the motor
down. When the switch button is released,
the motor will stop in its current position.

Throttle Friction Adjusting Screw
A friction device in the remote control box
provides adjustable resistance to move-
ment of the remote control lever, and can be
set according to operator preference. An
adjusting screw is located on the front of the
remote control box.
WARNING
@
Do not overtighten the friction adjusting
screw. If there is too much resistance, it
may be difficult to move the lever, which
could result in an accident.

Increase Turn clockwise
Decrease Turn counterclockwise
