how does the curser help on freeze frame on the 561 ? I don't see how it helps you. also on the dual beam at 20 feet does that mean 10 foot of the 20 foot 83khz beam is under the boat? on the split screen it shows you going from 200khz to 83khz . being the 200 is the middle of the 83 are you missing part of the 83 reading ? how do you read the split screen

5 Please try the below thing:- 1) Choose a transom location for mounting the side-imaging transducer. Select an area free from turbulent water that does not have any obstructions on the side-looking beams of the unit. Avoid areas such as near the aft of ribs, strakes, and rivets on the boat's bottom and the immediate spot near the propellers. On outboard and inboard boats, choose a spot at least 15 inches to the side of the propeller. 2) Mount the bracket of the transducer to your boat by following the instructions specific to your unit. Mounting templates vary depending on the make and model of your transducer. If the propeller of the boat moves clockwise as it goes forward, mount the unit on the starboard side. If the propeller moves forward in a counter clockwise motion, mount the transducer on the port side of your boat. 3) Attach the pivot to the body of the transducer unit and mount the assembly to the metal bracket. Attach, but do not completely tighten the screws at this point. The pivot and bracket are mount assembly pieces that should be included with your transducer. 4) Adjust the height and tilt adjustment of the transducer to reduce cavitation or the formation of bubbles. Make the pivot angle parallel with the length of the boat hull. Fully tighten the pivot screws. 5) Route the cable to connect the side-imaging transducer to its control head. Attach the cable clamp to the transom to secure. Plug in the cable. 12 foot = 12 feet.
