Question About Vision Fitness Waterskis T9200 simple
dashes on display screen...

The treadmill beeps 5-6 times and the display screen is all dashes, no zeros. It will not start. The reset button is not working. It is a little over a year old. Any ideas?

0 Try this only if you are comfortable with dangerous electricity and delicate circuit boards. First, UNPLUG the machine. Remove the cover (two to six screws) above the motor and electronic circuit board. Unplug two telephone-like cables from the circuit board. Like a phone cable, you have to squeeze a tab. One looks just like a telephone cable, the other is like an oversized phone cable or a computer's ethernet cable. Plug them both back in after a minute or so. Replace the cover. Make sure the safety cut-off is correctly situated on the display panel. Then, plug in the machine, turn it on and see what happens. Good luck.
