VHF 650 Squelch problem: If I try to use the VHF s...

VHF 650 Squelch problem: If I try to use the VHF suddenly the squelch "disappears", there is no more any squelch noise, wherever I turn the knob, and I cant talk nor listen. If I switch off, and after some time again on, it might look normal at first, but after some minutes the same repeats.
