OPERATION
Before disconnecting the mower, the PTO must be disengaged and all motion at a complete stop. Move the
mower to a level storage location and lower both wings to the ground. If the mower will be stored with the
sections in the raised position, be sure that the locks are engaged. If the mower is not resting securely on the
ground, block the mower up securely before attempting to disconnect it from the tractor. Use extreme care to
keep feet and hands from under the mower and clear of any pinch points.

osition. Relieve hydraulic pressure by moving
he control levers back and forth several times.
ower the parking jack and raise the mower until
he tongue clevis is no longer resting on the
ractor drawbar and is supported solely by the
ack. The jack should be in a near vertical position
ith the ground and can be adjusted by loosening
he positioning nut and moving the jack up to 15
egrees in each direction. Also make sure that
he jack foot is securely resting at ground level or
ecurely supported by a block before raising the
ower. Once the mower tongue is being
upported entirely by the jack, remove the hitch
olt, locknut, and washers. Remove the cylinder
ydraulic hoses from the tractor and secure to the
ower to prevent contact with dirt.
fter disconnecting the mower hitch, remove the
ump from the speed increaser. If the pump will
emain disconnected from the speed increaser for
n extended period of time, apply a thick coat of
rease or other substance to prevent the shaft and flange from rusting. If the Tractors PTO is to be utilized
emove the speed increaser from the tractor and replace all PTO guarding that came standard with the tractor.
After the speed increaser has been removed from the tractor, place the PTO master shield
