SECTION 10: MAINTENANCE
INSPECTION, SERVICE & MAINTENANCE
10.1 Inspection, Service & Maintenance Summary Charts
You must inspect, maintain and service your trailer regularly to insure safe and
reliable operation. If you cannot or are unsure how to perform the items listed here,
have your dealer perform them.
Note: In addition to this manual, also check the relevant component
manufacturer’s manual.
Inspection and Service before Each Use

ats. Replace w/ball & coupler
having trailer GVW Rating
Grease
Check locking device & replace

Tires
• Air Pressure
Check tire pressure when cold
Inate tires to 80 psi
Sections 6.6, 9.2 & 10.2.6
Wheels
• Lug Nuts (Bolts) & Hub
Check for tightness
Tighten to 95 - 120 ft/lb. Do
not exceed 120 ft./lb. For new
and remounted wheels, check
torque after rst 10, 25 & 50
miles of driving and after any
impact

Inspection and Service each 3 Months or 3,000 Miles
