Mounting additional memory
A memory board with 16slots is standard equipment and up to 16GB memory can be mounted. When you use over 16memory slots, an additional
Memory Board (GP5-RB201) is required. When using two memory boards in HS900, the same memory size must be mounted on each board.
Additional PSU in G800i
When a DLT unit (GP5-DL351) is mounted, an additional PSU (total two PSU) is required.
The restriction of the mount of 2 CPUs, 5HDD or 3 PCIs is cancelled.
(HS900)
Memory must be expanded in bank units by mounting four similar capacity DIMMs in one bank. DIMMs must also be mounted in ascending order of
memory capacity alternately on the two RAM base cards.
(M800i)
Mount the same capacity DIMM's in units of four. (Mounting of DIMM's with different capacities or a set of less than four DIMM's is not allowed)
Mount the DIMM's in ascending order of their capacity. Use DIMM slots in the order from bank A (J1 to J4) to bank D (J13 to J16)
(L800i)
The motherboard has four slots for RAM modules (including standard equipment), install RAM modules in slot number order. (teamserver C3xxi
has three slots)
