Imaging Frequency
(Down Imaging™ Views only [596c HD DI])
Settings: 800 kHz, 455 kHz; Default = 455 kHz
Imaging Frequency allows you to select which frequency to apply to the
Down Imaging™ beams (455 kHz or 800 kHz). For the best overall image quality
and depth, select 455 kHz. For the sharpest image (but limited depth
capability), select 800 kHz.
Surface Clutter
Settings: Low = 1 to High = 10; Default = 5
Surface Clutter adjusts the filter that removes surface clutter noise caused by
algae and aeration. The lower the setting, the less surface clutter will be
displayed.
