To Terminate Dual Watch:
Choose one ofthe following:
a.Press the LOCK buttonto return to
LISTENING MODEon eitherDual Watch
Location 1or thelast DualWatch Location
on which, during DualWatch, youlast
received atransmission.
b.Press the TALK buttonto return to
LISTENING MODEon eitherDual Watch
Location 1or thelast DualWatch Location
on which, during DualWatch, youlast
received atransmission.
c.Press the MODE buttonand proceedto the
next available Mode Function.
During An Incoming Transmission,
You CanChoose From TheFollowing:
a.Press and hold theTALK button to
communicate on that DualWatch Location.
Yourradio will remainon that Dual Watch
Location and return toLISTENING MODE.
b.Press the CHANNEL UPor CHANNELDOWN
button toresume DualWatch.
If you press the TALK buttonwhile inDual Watch
and not within10 secondsof receivinga
transmission, youwill transmiton thelast Dual
WatchLocation onwhich you received a
transmission. This will return the radioto
LISTENING MODE.
If you do notpress any button within10 seconds,
your radio willautomatically resume
Dual Watch.
Baby Monitor
With theBaby MonitorFunction on, aradio left
near ababy willtransmit toanother unit onthe
same channel and privacycode whenever asound
is detected. Baby Monitoruses the same
sensitivity level youset forthe VOXFunction. If
you have notset aVOX sensitivitylevel (seethe
“VoiceActivated Transmit [VOX]”section ofthis
manual), themaximum sensitivity, level5, will
automatically beused.
To Turn Baby Monitor On:
1. Press MODE buttonuntil the
Baby Monitor iconflashes
on thedisplay.The current
Off setting is displayed.
2. Press theCHANNEL UPor
CHANNEL DOWN button to
change thesetting toOn.
3. Press theLOCK buttonto
enter theOn settingand
enterBABYMONITORMODE.
NOTES: Pressing theMODE
button will enterthe
Baby Monitor Mode
setting as Offand
proceed toother
Mode Functions.
