To access the third item on the
Traffic Statistics
menu, choose

. The

The statistic counters displayed are defined as follows:

Speed
If the link is up, the speed and duplex status will be displayed; if the link is down “-” will be
displayed.
♦
CRC Error
The number of frames that fail the CRC integrity check.
♦
Oversize
The number of good frames with length greater than 1536 bytes and therefore are greater
than the maximum legal length.
♦
Bad Fragment
The number of packets less than 64 bytes with either bad framing or an invalid CRC.
These are normally the result of collisions.
♦
Jabber
The number of frames with length more than 1536 bytes and with CRC error or misalignment
(bad framing).
♦
Late Collision
The number of collisions that occur at or after the 64
th
byte (octet) in the frame.
