DATAHOLDANDAUTO‐HOLDMODE

To freeze the display for an y function, press the 

HOLD key. Pressing the F2 key (AUTO HOLD)

activatestheAutoHoldmode(ifthemeterisnotin

thePEAK,MIN‐MAX,orRecordmodes).Auto‐Hold

monitors the input signal and updates the display

and,ifenabled,soundsthebeeper

eachtimeanew

stable measurement is detected. A stable

measurementisonethatdoesnotvarymorethanaselectedadjustablepercentage

(Auto‐Holdthreshold)foratleastonesecond.Themeterfiltersopenleadconditions

sothatthemeterleadscanbemovedbetweentestpointswithouttriggering

adisplay

update.
