The unit uses an on-screen message system to alert you to unit operating
characteristics. When a message appears, press to acknowledge the
message.
—the GPS accuracy has fallen outside of the user-set value.
—shows the MMSI (Maritime Mobile Service
Identity) of the dangerous target.
—the alarm clock has sounded.
—you have drifted out of the specied distance range.
—a part of the antenna wiring is crimped, broken,
or contacting the chassis.
—you arrived at the destination waypoint. You
can when this message appears.
—battery voltage has fallen below the value entered in the
Battery Alarm setup.
—too much input voltage—the unit shuts off in
10 seconds. Decrease the input voltage to the maximum voltage allowed (or
less) for your chartplotter.
—the boat is not moving fast
enough for the speed wheel to provide a valid speed.
—error reading card; remove and reinsert. Contact
your dealer or Garmin Product Support if the problem persists.
—the voltage
value in the Battery Alarm setup is higher than the unit can read.
—voltage
value in the Battery Alarm setup is lower than the voltage where the unit
automatically turns off.
—data on the data card is not unlocked for the unit.
