STARTING
Before starting the Lathe:
Check and adjust Drive Belt (121A) 1.
tension. See “Maintenance & Ser-
vice” section.
Make sure the lathe is properly lubri-2.
cated.
Make sure the Lathe has sufcient 3.
oil. During operation, if the oil
level falls below the red line on the
oil gauge, immediately stop ma-
chining and add oil until the level
is at the red line.
Make sure all levers and controls are 4.
tight and in the proper position.
Turn the Emergency Switch (112A) 5.
clockwise. Then press the Power
Switch (11A) to start the Lathe.
