Lens hoods
All LEICAFLEX lenses have their func-
tionally designed lens hood. It should
always be used as a matter of course,
because it effectively protects the lens
against stray light and flare as well as
against raindrops and fingermarks.
On the wide-angle and standard lenses the
lens hood is attached with the white dot
facing white dot and locked by a clockwise
turn. To unlock it, slightly raise the lens
hood and turn it anti-clockwise to remove it.
The lens hood of these lenses also serves
as adapter for series filters.
On long-focal-length lenses the lens hood is
permanently fixed and can be extended like
a telescope.
