Thisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundto
complywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,
pursuanttoPart15oftheFCCRules.Theselimits
aredesignedtoprovidereasonableprotection
againstharmfulinterferenceinaresidential
installation.Thisequipmentgenerates,uses
andcanradiateradiofrequencyenergyand,if
notinstalledandusedinaccordancewiththe
instructions,maycauseharmfulinterference
toradiocommunications.However,thereisno
guaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurina
particularinstallation.Ifthisequipmentdoes
causeharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevision
reception,whichcanbedeterminedbyturningthe
equipmentoffandon,theuserisencouragedto
trytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneormoreof
thefollowingmeasures:
-Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.
-Increasetheseparationbetweenthe
equipmentandthereceiver.
-Connecttheequipmenttoanoutleton
acircuitdifferentfromthattowhichthe
receiverisconnected.
-Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TV
technicianforhelp.
Thisdevicecomplieswithpart15oftheFCC
Rules.Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwo
conditions:(1)thisdevicemaynotcauseharmful
interferenceand(2)thisdevicemustacceptany
interferencereceived,includinginterferencethat
maycauseundesiredoperationofthedevice.
Anychangesormodificationsinconstructionof
thisdevicewhicharenotexpresslyapprovedby
thepartyresponsibleforcompliancecouldvoid
theuser’sauthoritytooperatetheequipment.

ThisreminderisprovidedtocalltheCATVsystem
installer’sattentiontoArticle820-40ofthe
NationalElectricCode(U.S.A.).Thecodeprovides
guidelinesforpropergroundingand,inparticular,
specifiesthatthecablegroundshallbeconnected
tothegroundingsystemofthebuilding,asclose
tothepointofthecableentryaspractical.
