Press the POWER button 1 to turn the
unit on. Open the CD compartment door
by pressing the OPEN/CLOSE area 2.
Place a CD on the center spindle, with
the printed label side facing up. Close
the CD compartment door.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE (®p)/CD
button to select CD; playback will
start automatically.

Adjust the VOLUME buttons 1 and EQ
button
2 as desired. Repeatedly press the
EQ button 2 to cycle through the EQ set-
tings as follows: ROCK, JAZZ, POP,
CLASSICAL.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE (/p)/CD but-
ton again to pause playback; the time
display will blink. Press the
PLAY/PAUSE (
/p)/CD button once
again to continue playback; the time dis-
play will stop blinking.

To skip forward or backward through
the tracks on the disc, press the
Tune/Skip/Search
o 1 or n 2 button.

To search forward or backward through
the music on a disc, press and hold the
Tune/Skip/Search
o 1 or n2button, a
chattering noise will be heard.
