Dialing Another Fax Machine to
Request Documents (Polling
Reception)
Your machine can contact a remote fax machine and request
documents from it. This is called polling or polling
reception.
Your machine can poll only one machine at a time.
1 Press Menu/Exit to enter the menu.
2 Press ᮡ to select Polling TX/RX. Press Enter.
3 Press ᮢ to select Polling RX. Press Enter.
4 Enter the mailbox numbers. You may enter a maximum
of 20 characters (0-9, space, *, #). Press Enter.
5 Enter the desired location using Speed Dial or the
numeric keypad.
6 Press Start.
