Powering On the Projector
Before switching on the projector, make sure all the other devices are correctly connected (
Æ
pages 35-38) and remove the
lens cap.
Connect the power cord to the projector body.1)
Connect the power plug to an outlet.2)
The power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> lights or blinks, and the projector will enter the standby mode. f
Press the <3) v/b> button on the control panel or the <b> button on the remote control.
The power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> lights in green and the image is soon projected on the screen. f
Attention
Using the projector while the lens cap is attached may cause the device to heat up and result in a re. f
Note
If the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [ECO MANAGEMENT] → [STANDBY MODE] is set to [ECO], it may take approx. 10 f
seconds longer before the projector starts projecting after the power is turned on, compared with when [NORMAL] is set.
Making adjustments and selections
It is recommended that images are projected continuously for at least 30 minutes before the focus is adjusted.
Adjust the focus of the image roughly. (1) Æ page 44)
Change the settings of the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [PROJECTION METHOD] depending on the 2)
installation mode. (Æ page 31)
Refer to “Navigating through the menu” ( f Æ page 54) for the operation of the menu screen.
Press the <INPUT SELECT> button on the control panel or the input selection (<COMPUTER 1>, 3)
<COMPUTER 2>, <HDMI>, <VIDEO/S-VIDEO>) buttons to select the input signal.
<MEMORY VIEWER>, <Miracast> and <Panasonic APP> buttons on the remote control can also be used to switch the f
input signal.
Adjust the front, back and sideway tilt of the projector with the adjustable feet. (4) Æ page 34)
If the input signal is an analog RGB signal, press the <AUTO SETUP/CANCEL> button.5)
Press the <EASY SETTING/CANCEL> button on the control panel.6)

When the projector is switched on for the rst time after purchase as well as when the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → f
[INITIALIZE ALL] is executed, the initial setting screen is displayed after projection starts. Refer to “Start-up display” for
