Switching the sound settings
You can switch the acoustic sound field stored
in this unit according to the source you are lis-
tening to. For detailed instructions on creating
the acoustic sound field, refer to Introduction
of sound settings on the next page.
% Touch SOUND SETTING on the audio
function menu to switch the sound setting.
Touch SOUND SETTING repeatedly to switch
between the following settings:
SETTING1 (user setting 1)—SETTING2 (user
setting 2)—SETTING3 (user setting 3)—AUTO
(setting created by auto TA & EQ)
# You can also switch thesound setting by
pressing SOUND SETTING.
# You cannot select AUTOwhen NETWORK
has been selected. (Refer to Switching theDSP
setting mode on page104.)
# When STANDARD hasbeen selected, you
cannot select AUTOif Auto TA and EQ has not
been carried out.
Switching between the
multi-channel output and
2-channel output
You can switch the output channel between
the multi-channel output and 2-channel out-
put according to the source you are listening
to.
! Selecting 2CH changes the audio settings
as below:
— Both the front center and rear center
speakers are turned off automatically in
the speaker setting. (Refer to page 87.)
— Both Dolby Pro Logic II/EX and DTS
Neo:6 switch to OFF. (Refer to page 79.)
% Touch 2CH/Multi CH on the audio func-
tion menu to switch the mode.
Touch 2CH/Multi CH repeatedly until the de-
sired mode appears in the display.
! MCH – Multi-channel audio output
! 2CH – 2-channel audiooutput (stereo)
# You can also switch theoutput setting by
pressing 2ch/MULTI-CH.
