tionappliancesandexhaustequipment.
• Ensurefurnaceandairconditioningreturnventsare
not located in the immediate vicinity of the appli-
ance,
• Avoidinstallingthe applianceneardoors, walkways
orsmallisolatedspaces.
• Recessedlightingshouldbeof“sealedcan”design;
attic hatches weather stripped or sealed; and attic
mountedductworkandairhandlerjointsandseams
tapedorsealed.
