To enter a new lock code:
1. Press to display the Main Menu.
2. Press for Security and enter your current lock code.
3. Press for Lock Code. The current lock code displays.
4. Enter a new, four-digit lock code by pressing the digit keys.
5. Press to save the new lock code or to exit.
Note: Your phone does not allow viewing of the lock code
unless you know the lock code (this is for obvious security
reasons). So, if you change the lock code, be sure to write
down the new code and keep it for your reference.

The Security menu allows you to lock the phone manually,
automatically when powering on your phone, or to leave the
phone unlocked.
To lock the phone:
1. Press to display the Main Menu.
2. Press for Security and enter the lock code.
3. Press for Lock Phone.
4. Press the scroll keys to select an option:
♦ Off: The phone remains unlocked.
♦ Now: The phone locks immediately and stays locked
until the lock code is entered.
♦ On Power-Up: The phone locks automatically the next
time your phone is powered on and stays locked until
the lock code is entered.
5. Press to save the setting.
