OFF: When the connected microphone requires no
external power.
+48 V: When the connected microphone requires an
external power source. A power of +48 V is supplied to
the microphone.
(No function has been assigned to the uppwermost
position. No power is supplied to the microphone.)
To supply a power of +12 V, modification of the camera is
required.
t AUDIO IN 2 switch
Set this switch according to the device connected to the
AUDIO IN 2 connector.
MIC: When connecting a microphone
AES/EBU: When connecting a digital audio signal
synchronized with a camera signal
LINE: When connecting the signal for line level (0 dBu)
u AUDIO IN 1 and 2 connectors (XLR 3-pin)
To input microphone or line signals.
v DC IN connector (4-pin)
Connect to a DC power source (10.5 to 17 V) when using
the camera as a standalone unit.
In standalone status, power supply from this unit is limited
to 6.5 A. Check the power consumption of the device to be
connected.
w CCU (camera control unit) connector (electro-
optical multi-connector)
Connect to the CAMERA connector of the HDCU1000/
1500 Camera Control Unit using an electro-optical
composite cable. Power, video, audio, and control signals
are passed between the camera and the control unit using
just one cable.
