Suzuki’s Anti-Corrosion Finish
eoutside of the DF250SS is covered with Suzuki’s multi-
layered anti-corrosion nish that is specially formulated to increase
the durability of the engine and help protect the aluminum exterior
that is constantly exposed to saltwater. is advanced nish oers
maximum bonding of the nish to the outboard’s aluminum
surface, creating an eective treatment against corrosion.

Fuel Filter with Water Separator
efuel system incorporates a large, easy to maintain fuel lter
that removes contaminants from the fuel before they can reach the
engine. A water separator built into the fuel lter oers a height-
ened level of protection by keeping water out of the engine.

Large Air Intake, and Flywheel with
Fan Blades
Increasing airow into the engine can increase power output, so
Suzuki engineers designed the DF250SS with dual air induction
ports to maximize airow into the
engine to obtain maximum power
output. e increased airow delivers
more low- to mid-range torque and
provides the outboard with a wider
powerband.
eywheel is designed with fan
blades that expel heat from within the
engine cover and discharge the hot air
out of the side of the cowl, keeping the
temperature within the cowl under control.
