WARNING:Toavoidelectricalshock,disconnectthemeterfromanycircuit,removethetest

leadsfromtheinputterminals,andturnOFFthemeterbeforeopeningthecase.Donotoperate

themeterwithanopencase.

CleaningandStorage

Periodicallywipethecasewithadampclothandmilddetergent;donotuseabrasivesor

solvents.Ifthemeterisnottobeusedfor60daysormore,removethebatteryandstoreit

separately.

BatteryReplacement

1. RemovethePhillipsheadscrewthatsecurestherearbatterycover

2. Openthebatterycompartment

3. Replacethe9Vbattery.

4. Securethebatterycompartmentdoor

Neverdisposeofusedbatteriesorrechargeablebatteriesinhouseholdwaste.

Asconsumers,usersarelegallyrequiredtotakeusedbatteriestoappropriate



collectionsites,theretailstorewherethebatterieswerepurchased,orwherever

batteriesaresold.

Disposal:Donotdisposeofthisinstrumentinhouseholdwaste.Theuseris

obligatedtotakeend‐of‐lifedevicestoadesignatedcollectionpointforthedisposal

ofelectricalandelectronicequipment.


