Note
¶ Press the REPEAT button during program playback to
repeat playback of the program.
¶ Press CLEAR button to cancel Repeat play. The Repeat
play mode is canceled, but playback continues.
¶ With DVDs, repeat playback between titles is not possible.
Repeat play of a chapter/track
Press REPEAT button once during playback
of the chapter or track you want to repeat.
Repeat play of a title
Press REPEAT button twice during playback
of the chapter or track you want to repeat.
¶ With DVDs, the title continues playing until the end, and then
playback starts once more from the beginning of that title.
¶ With CDs and Video CDs, a disc is title, so the entire disc is
repeated.
Repeat play of a specified
section
Press REPEAT A–B button at the beginning
and end of the section you want to repeat.
Return to a specified location
1 Press REPEAT A–B button at the
desired location.
2 When you want to return, press PLAY
button.
¶ Press CLEAR button to clear a specified location.
◆ With some DVD discs, there may be times when Repeat playback
is not possible because of the title. In this case, the mark
will appear on the screen.
◆ With Video CDs, Repeat play is not possible during playback with
the menu displayed (PBC playback). To perform Repeat play, start
playback without displaying a menu (refer to page 25), and press
REPEAT button.
