Phaser 300X Color Printer

Changing the fuser wiper

Replace the fuser wiper (A) when you open a new box of black ColorStix ink sticks or after 2,000

prints, whichever comes ﬁrst. Each box of black ink sticks contains a new fuser wiper.

1.

Remove the paper tray.

2.

Open the printer’s top cover.

3.

Lift the fuser wiper cover.

4.

Pull out the old fuser wiper and

insert the new one. As you insert it,

line up the notches on the fuser

wiper with the notches in the

printer.

Note

To prevent paper-pick problems, clean the paper-pick and feed rollers when you change the fuser

wiper. Refer to “Cleaning the paper-pick rollers” on page 4-11 and “Cleaning the feed rollers” on

page 4-12.
