Site Preparation and Placement
The 10BASE-FB Transceiver can be placed in the
following locations:
■ On top of the device to which it is attached
■ On top of a desk
■ Attached directly to the AUI connection on
the DTE
To avoid damage to the Fiber Optic cable and
prevent accidental disconnection from the AUI
cable, secure the transceiver and cables connec-
tions.

(part # 9300-TM3) to secure your transceivers. To
