CARRYING HANDLE
The carrying handle is included between
the clamp bracket. The carrying handle
enables you to carry the outboard motor
readily with one hand after setting it up.
To set up the carrying handle, proceed as
follows.
1) Place the tilt lock lever in the lock
position.
2) Securely hook the arm of carrying
handle end to the clamp bracket bar.

Place the tilt lock lever in the lock posi-
tion while using the carrying handle. Oth-
erwise, the lower casing may fall to the
grand while carrying the motor.

TILT SUPPORT BAR
The tilt support bar keeps the outboard
motor in the tilted up position.

TOP COWLING LOCK LEVER
To remove the engine top cowling, turn
the lock lever. Then lift off the cowling.
When replacing the cowling, check to be
sure it fits properly in the rubber seal.
Then lock the cowling again by moving
the lever upward.
