REPLACING FUSE
If the fuse has blown on an Electric start
model, open the fuse box and replace the
fuse with a spare one of proper amperage,
using a fuse puller.
WARNING

Be sure to use the specified fuse. An
incorrect fuse or a piece of wire may
allow excessive current flow. This could
cause electrical system damage and a
fire hazard.

CAUTION:
@
If a main fuse has blown, be sure to
also check the other main fuse.
If the outboard motor is operated after
a main fuse has blown charging capa-
bility will be insufficient, and the
engine will not start.
NOTE:
@
If the new fuse blows again immediately,
consult a Yamaha dealer.
