Select the desired port, mode, and range of ports to be configured and then click Apply.
802.1X
The DGS-3224TGR implements the server-side of the IEEE 802.1x Port-based Network Access Control. This mechanism
is intended to allow only authorized users, or other network devices, access to network resources by establishing criteria for
each port on the switch that a user or network device must meet before allowing that port to forward or receive frames.
IEEE 802.1X operation must be enabled on the switch before it will function. This is done using the 802.1X State window.
802.1X settings can be configured before it is enabled switch wide.

The 802.1x State can be set to Enabled or Disabled.
Authentication
Protocol
This can be set to Local or Radius_EAP. RADIUS Extensible Authentication Protocol
(EAP) supports multiple authentication mechanisms that are negotiated during the
authentication phase.
