1. General
The metering pump is installed in accordance with
the applicable operating instructions. The following
description refers exclusively to the electrical ATE
servomotor, types KNG 2.60 and KNG 2.120.

3. Installation
The ATE servomotor has been mounted on the
pump by the manufacturer and calibrated.
When installing the equipment, a clearance of at
least 150 mm must be allowed for subsequent
maintenance work.
The ATE servomotor must be connected to the
electrical system in accordance with the local
regulations and may only be connected by duly
qualified specialist personnel.
The two basic possibilities for connection are
illustrated in the following wiring diagrams.
Cable type and cross-section must be determined
in accordance with the motor data.
Cable inlets in the housing must be carried out
correctly. We recommend compression glands with
strain relief.
The required degree of protection must be ensured
by correct installation of the electrical connections.
Important:
Please take into account that the ATE drive can only
be controlled with the main motor running, i.e.: the
ATE drive must be locked electrically. Otherwise the
control eccentric may be subject to excessive wear
or damaged.
