BASIC
OPERATION
1 Press STANDBY/ON (or set AMP/SOURCE/TV
to AMP, then press SYSTEM POWER on the
remote control) to turn on the power.
2 Turn on the video monitor connected to this
unit.
3 Press SPEAKERS A or B on the front panel
(or press SPEAKERS A or B on the remote
control).
Each press turns the respective speakers on or off.
When bi-wiring, select both A and B.
4 Select the input source.
Use the INPUT selector (or press one of the input
selector buttons on the remote control) to select the
input you desire.
The current input source name appears in the front
panel display and video monitor for a few seconds.
5 Start playback or select a broadcast station
on the source component.
Refer to the operation instructions for the component.
See page 41 for details about tuning instructions.
6 Adjust the volume to the desired output level.
