and press OK.
Setting the Time
The local time can be set on the ONIX 110 using the
Time setting function. Local time is set by entering


          
hours.
To change the Time setting:
1. Press the Menu button twice to display the main
menu.
2. Select User Settings and press OK.
3. Use the left/right navigation keys to select the
Time tab (Fig. 81).

Adjust Time eld.
5. Press OK to toggle between Plus and Minus.
6. Use the up/down navigation keys to highlight
the Hour eld and press OK.

Hour eld and press OK to conrm your setting.
The Current Time eld shows the corrected time.
8. In the Minute eld, press OK to toggle between
0 and 30.
9. Use the up/down navigation keys to highlight
and press OK to conrm the time setting.
Making a Cold Start
Use this feature to locate your position correctly,
if the ONIX 110 is unable to identify your position
after being powered on for a few minutes. This may
happen if there is old, incorrect data in the device and
the signal strength is poor due to uneven distribution
of the satellites. In some cases, you may also wish to
acquire fresh information from the satellites and clear
