User Name and Password
Theusernameisʹuserʹ.Theusernamecannotbechanged.The
PinPointXʹspasswordisusedastheSNMPpassword(default
isʹ12345ʹ).
Tip: The eight-character password requirement for SMNPv3 is not
enforced by the PinPoint X Agent to allow the default password to
function. Your SNMP administrator or MIS may require you to change
to a more secure and/or longer password.
TochangethepasswordinthePinPointX,selectModemfrom
thetopmenulineinAceManager.

Thecurrentpasswordwillbepre‐entered.Asyoutypethe
newpasswordandconfirmit,thecharactersyoutypewillbe
obscuredby“x”.Forthepassword,youcanusenumbers,
letters,and/orpunctuation.

Caution: The password is case sensitive. “drowssaP” is not the same
as “drowssap”.
