responsetospecificevents,suchaswhenthevoltagetothe
modemdropsbelowaconfiguredthresholdorwhentheDTR
changes,inordertoconserveavehicleʹsbatterylife. Thest and‐
bystate,low‐powermode,willprevent
themodemfrom
drainingthebatterywhileallowingthemodemtoquickly
poweruptoregularoperationwhenitisneeded.
