Basic operation
Switching audio control modes
Various audio control modes may be fine-tuned using this
procedure.
1 . Press the [AUDIO CONTROL] button for less than
one second.
Pressing the button repeatedly will allow you to control
adjustments of [BASS] (low frequencies), [TREB] (high
frequencies), [FADER] (front-rear speaker balance),
[BAL] (left-right speaker balance), and [SUB-W]
(subwoofer level).
2 . Turn the [AUDIO CONTROL] button to the left or
right
It controls levels and adjust the sound to your
preference.
When Tone Control feature is off, adjustment of BASS and
TREB will be skipped.
When an optional DSP/EQ unit is connected, the mode
switches from Volume
DSP level adjustment EQ level
adjustment. BASS, TREB, FADER, BAL, may be skipped,
and it depends on the type of DSP/EQ and its situation.
Enabling the loudness control
The loudness control may be turned on to emphasize low
and high frequencies at low volume levels.
Loudness compensates for the apparent weakness of low
and high frequencies at low volume by boosting the bass
and treble levels.
1. Press and hold the [AUDIO CONTROL] button until
the [LOUD ON] display appears on the screen.
To disable the loudness feature, repeat the above
procedure to display the [LOUD OFF] indication.
