5.2 Replacement of Fuse
Two fuses (125V 4A) in the processor unit protect the equipment from reverse polarity
of the ship's mains and equipment fault. If a fuse blows, you cannot turn on the power.
Have a qualified technician check the set.
5.3 Diagnostics
Your NAVpilot contains the diagnostics that check the processor unit, control unit,
NMEA 0183 input/output, CAN bus, keyboard, screen, rudder, and helm (Accu-Steer
FPS 12V/24V helm sensor only). The tests are for use by service technicians, but you
can do the tests to help the technician in troubleshooting.
