Temperature
The Fishfinder 160 can display the water temperature when equipped
with a temperature sensing transducer. The unit has the ability to automati-
cally sense when a temperature capable transducer is connected and display
the water temperature. The temperature field can be shown or hidden
regardless of the transducer installed.
To Set the Temperature Display Field:
1. Highlight the ‘NUM’ tab on the Setup Menu.
2. Highlight the ‘Temperature’ selection fi eld and press ENTER.
3. Choose ‘Auto’, ‘Show’ or ‘Hide’, press ENTER to accept the selection.
Speed
The Fishfinder 160 can display the boat’s ‘Speed’ Over Water when
equipped with a speed capable transducer or Speed Sensor. When set
to ‘AUTO’ the unit will automatically sense when a capable transducer or
sensor is connected and display the Speed.
To Set the Speed Display Field:
1. Highlight the ‘NUM’ tab on the Setup Menu.
2. Highlight the ‘Speed’ selection fi eld and press ENTER.
3. Choose ‘Auto’, ‘Show’ or ‘Hide’, press ENTER to accept the selection.
