8. Reinstall reed switch board in meter housing. Use 2
screws (D) to secure reed switch PCB to cover
plate. Tighten screws until they bottom out.
9. Reconnect lead (B) to battery by carefully sliding
connector over battery terminals (E) until it snaps
securely into place under clip (D) (F

10. Reconnect solenoid lead (C) (F
IG. 49).
11. Position cover over meter housing.

NOTICE
Do not use a screw driver or any other tool to lift up
clip (D) when reconnecting battery lead (B). If the clip
is damaged or broken it cannot be repaired; you will
have to replace the battery module. Order Part No.
255197.
