Common Causes of Inaccurate Measurement Results
The following situations can result in inaccurate measurement results or errors.
• The index finger is not placed
closely on the electrode.
• The unit is held incorrectly.
• The unit is being held in the left hand.
Always use your right hand to hold
the unit when taking a measurement.
• The rear of the unit is placed
against the chest.
• The chest electrode is against the
finger and the finger electrode is
against the chest.
• Unit placed on clothing.
