12.6 CHANGING COG TO TRUE OR MAGNETIC
Allows customizing the NAV data showing GPS Course Over Ground (COG).
Factory default is “True,” however, following the steps below the COG can be
changed to “Magnetic.”
1. Press and hold down the

“RADIO SETUP” menu appears.
2. Press the

key, then press the

key to select “MAGNETIC” menu.
3. Press the

key to select “on (Magnetic)” or “of
(True).”

key to store the selected set-
ting.
6. Press the

key to return to radio operation.
In the “True” mode, the display shows direction with “T.” Mean-
while, the the display shows with “M” in the “Magnetic” mode.

Allows selection of the priority channel.
