Send the GPS data (GPS) <TK-5210/ TK-5310 only>
Press this key when the GPS unit has been installed to
send your positioning data to the base station.
Site Lock (SIT)
Press this key to lock the current site. The transceiver
cannot search for alternate sites, and on K2/K3/K5/K6/K7
model transceivers, “SITE LOCK” appears on the display.
Press and hold the Site Lock key for 2 seconds to unlock
the transceiver to allow roaming again.
Speaker Attenuation
Press this microphone key to attenuate received voice
signals. This reduces the strength of the speaker output to
cut back any noise and distortion present in the signal.
Squelch Level (SQL)
Press this key to adjust the transceiver squelch level.
When adjusting the squelch level, use the Side 2 and
Side 3 keys or the D> and <C keys to increase and
decrease the squelch level from 0 (open) to 9 (tight). The
default setting is 5.
