BRP LIMITED WARRANTY – USA AND CANADA:

PERSONAL WATERCRAFT
1. SCOPE
Bombardier Recrea tional Products In c. (“BRP”)* warrants its model-year 2009
Sea-Doo personal watercraft sold by authorized Sea-Doo De alers (as defin ed
below) i n the fifty United States and in Canada from defects in material or work-
manship for the period and under the conditions described below. This limit ed
warranty will become null and void if: (1) the Sea-Doo personal watercraft was
used for racing or any other c om petitive activity, at any point, even by a previous
owner; or (2) the Sea-Doo personal watercraft ha s been altered or modified in
such a way so as to adversely affect its operation, p erforman ce or durability; (3) or
has been a ltered or mo dified to cha nge its intended use.
All genuine BRP parts and accesso ries, installed by an authorized BRP dealer (as
hereinafter defined) at the time of delivery of the Sea-Doo personal watercraft,
carry the same warranty as that of the personal watercraft.
A GPS receiver may be s uppli ed by BRP a s standa rd equipment on certain 2009
Sea-Doo personal watercra ft. The GPS receiver is covered by the limited warranty
issued by the GPS rec eiver’ s manufa c t urer and is not c ov ered by t his limi t ed
warranty.
2. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY GIVEN AND ACCEPTED IN LIEU OF ANY
AND A LL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INC LUDING
WIT H OUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF ME RCH A NTABI LITY OR FIT-
NESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. T O THE EXTENT T HAT THEY CANNOT
BE DISCLAIMED, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE L IMITED IN DURATION
TO THE LIFE OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY. INCIDENTAL AND CON SE-
QUENTIA L DA MAGES ARE EXCLUDED FROM COVERAGE UNDER THIS
WARRANTY. SOME STATES/PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW FOR THE DIS-
CLAIMERS, LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS IDENTIFIED ABOVE, AS A
RESULT, THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. T HIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU
SPECIFIC RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS
WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE, OR PROVINCE TO PROVINCE.
Neither the distributor, any BR P dealer nor any other person has been authorized
to make any affirma tion, repres enta tion or warranty regarding the p roduc t, other
than thos e contained in this limited w a rranty, a nd if m a de, shall not be enforceable
against BRP. BRP reserves the right to m odify this warranty at any time, being un-
derstood that such modification will not alter the w a rranty conditions applicable to
the products sold while this warranty is in effect.
3. EXCLUSIONS
The following are not w a rranted under a ny circumstances:
– Norm al wear and tear;
– Routine ma intenance items, tune ups, adjus tm ents ;
– Dam a ge caused by failure to provide proper maintenance and/or storage, as de-
scribed in the Operat or’ s Gu ide;
