8. TRAN S FER
If the ownership of a product is transferred during the warranty covera ge period,
this warranty shall also be transferred and be v alid for the remaining c overa ge
period provided that BRP is notified of such transfer of ow ners hip i n the followi ng
way:
1. T he former owner c ontacts BRP (at the phone number provided below) or an
autho rized BR P dealer and gives the coordinates of the new owner; or
2. BR P or an authorized BRP dea ler r ec eives a proof that the former owner agreed
to the transfer of own ersh ip, in addition to the coordin ates of the new owner.
9. CONSUMER ASSISTANCE
In the event of a controversy or a dispute in connection with this BR P limited war-
ranty, BRP suggests that you try to res olve the issue at the dealership level. We
recommend discussing the issue with the au thorized dealer’s service manager or
owner.
