Verifying Installed and Runtime Files
The following tables indicate which PATROL Database Administration
directories and files are installed or generated on the server for Unix
hosts.
Note
In these tables, v.r in a path represents the version and release number of
the Database Administration product that you are installing.
The directories and files listed in Table 2-3, “Server Installation
Directories (Unix Host),” on page 2-15 are installed under the
$BMC_HOME directory. (The default is
/usr/bmc.) At runtime, the
BMC_HOME environment variable specifies the path to these files.
The directories and files listed in Table 2-4, “BMC_LOCAL Directories
and Files (Unix Host),” on page 2-16 are installed under the
$BMC_LOCAL directory, which is located in
/usr/jobs or the location
that you specified for BMC_LOCAL.
The directories listed in Table 2-5, “PATROL DB-Admin KM Directories
(Unix host),” on page 2-17 are installed under the $PATROL_HOME
directory.
