The list of play modes
The playback contents differ, depending on the setting of a playback range (
page 49).
Play mode type/icon Playback range description
Normal/No icon All Range Starts playback of songs in the Music Library after
the current song is played in the song list order.
Selected
Range
After the current song is played back, starts
playback of songs within the list item selected on
the Music Library screen (album list or artist list,
etc.) in the song list order.
Repeat/ All Range After the current song or the song selected from a
song list is played, songs in the Music Library are
played back repeatedly.

Shuffle/

Notes
When you start Intelligent Shuffle play, the play mode changes to “Shuffle” or
“Shuffle&Repeat.”
When you start the Time Machine Shuffle play, the playback range is set to “Selected
Range.”
