1-4 Additional Safety Measures
• Exhaust gas lines must end outside the
hazardous area at a safe point. Sample
gas lines may be returned to the
sampling point.
• If gas exhaust lines end within the
hazardous area gas inlet and outlet
have to be equipped with flame
arrestors.
• The maximum permissible gas
pressure depends on the type of
connected gas. See section 1-3-5 for
detailed information.
