2-4-1 Hints on Flammable Gases
Take care of the possible formation of flammable mixtures due to the possibility
of air penetration into the containment system and the resulting additional
precautions that may be necessary.

Installing Flame Arrestors
Flame arrestors shipped together with the
instrument are to be mounted to the gas
fittings plate utilizing the associated steel
pipes. Up to 8 flame arrestors may be
installed by aligning the as shown in fig.
2-3.
Take care of placing and fixing the
swivel nuts correctly!
Untightened connections (especially at
the analyzer side of the arrestors) may
cause malfunction!
Read and take into account the separate flame arrestor documentation,
shipped together with the instrument!
