Unit Operation
Setup Menu: Alarms/System Tabs
Battery Voltage
When activated, the ‘Battery Voltage’ Alarm will warn you when the
battery voltage reaches a user determined state of discharge.
To activate/deactivate the Battery Voltage Alarm:
1. Highlight the ‘Alarm’ tab on the Setup Menu.
2. Highlight the ‘Battery Voltage’ checkbox.
3. Pressing ENTER will insert or remove a check mark in the checkbox.
To set the Battery Voltage Alarm:
1. Highlight the ‘Battery Voltage’ fi eld and press ENTER.
2. Use the Arrow Keys to input the desired voltage, then press ENTER to
accept the setting.
System Tab
The ‘System’ tab contains the ‘Contrast,’ ‘Beeper,’ ‘NMEA Output’ and
‘Language’ setups. To access the ‘System’ tab, use the arrow keys to
highlight it.
Contrast
The display ‘Contrast’ may need to be adjusted to compensate for light
levels or viewing angles.
To adjust the Contrast:
1. Highlight the ‘System’ tab on the Setup Menu.
2. Highlight the ‘Contrast’ Adjustment fi eld and press ENTER.
3. Using the Right/Left ARROW keys, move the slider Right to darken the
screen, or Left to lighten the screen. When fi nished, press ENTER to
accept the setting.
